The European Federalist Party' was founded in November 6, 2011 in Paris from the union of existing Europe United and Federalist Party (France).[1] Its aim is to gather all Europeans to promote European federalism and to participate in all elections all over Europe. It has members in 22 European states.
The presidents are Yves Gernigon and Pietro De Matteis, the vice-presidents Hélène Feo and Jan Van Arkel and treasurer Nico Segers.
EFP is supported by Marco Pannella, a former friend of Altiero Spinelli and well-known Italian politician, also a member of the party, and Daniel Cohn-Bendit, a French member of the European Parliament.
